There were a whole bunch of these little birds struggling to find something to eat on this morning after it had snowed… either that or I just happened to come across a real hot bird hangout…

If you look closely you can see a bird in flight in the distance. I tried to get it when the bird was closer, but it was flying too fast for me. 
The End of Summer
This time of year kind of makes me sad… the days are getting shorter and cooler. Got a few shots of solitary people by the lake in here – it just seems like a bit of a metaphor for the season to me. These pictures were taken at Okanagan Beach in Penticton and Sunoka Beach in Summerland.

They say that a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush… well, I had no birds in my hand. They were all in the bush!
