There were three of these slides floating in the water along Okanagan beach. Each of them were ripped from their moorings and thrown up on the beach in a recent wind storm (One wasn’t actually thrown onto the beach, it was smashed repeatedly against a concrete wall). In the photo on the left you can see where the slide had been moored still sticking up out of the water.
Who says you’re not supposed to shoot Canadian Geese? The other day I shot a whole bunch of them… Oh, it’s ok to shoot them with a camera? 
It’s a big rock with stuff ‘growing’ on it. Not sure if it’s some sort of vegetation, mineral deposits, or something else all together. But it certainly makes for a much more interesting rock!
