If you look closely you can see a bird in flight in the distance. I tried to get it when the bird was closer, but it was flying too fast for me.

Snake in the Grass
I heard this little guy before I saw him. I was hiking on Giant’s Head Mountain one day when the sound of dry leaves rustling that didn’t match my footsteps caught my attention. But as soon as I stopped, this guy stopped as well – staying perfectly still as I looked at him, and even as I walked around him a bit to get a good picture. It wasn’t until I purposely touched the end of his ‘tail’ that he took off very quickly into some thicker grass.
