The Colours of the Season
I have spent some time recently enjoying the amazing array of colours on display at this time of year. I don’t particularly enjoy the cooler temperatures that come with autumn, or the shorter and shorter days, but the colours and contrasts are quite amazing. The End of Summer
This time of year kind of makes me sad… the days are getting shorter and cooler. Got a few shots of solitary people by the lake in here – it just seems like a bit of a metaphor for the season to me. These pictures were taken at Okanagan Beach in Penticton and Sunoka Beach in Summerland.

Summer is Ending?
All the apples were picked here last weekend. That always reminds me that summer is coming to an end… The bonus this time around it that apple season also used to signal the return to school and all the drudgery that entailed, but not so this time around…
I think that’s a good thing…
